Argentina is the 8th largest country in the world. Because of its great territorial extension, Argentina has a wide range of climate, biological diversity and wealth of resources. In terms of quality of life, Argentina has the highest Human Development Index (HDI) in Latin America.

Argentina in the ICCA Ranking

According to the ICCA Ranking 2023, Argentina is in the top 5 as a Host Destination in the Americas and in 25th place globally, so it has climbed positions both regionally and worldwide.

Moreover, the City of Buenos Aires leads the ranking in the Americas for the 13th time by hosting the highest number of events approved by the International Congress and Convention Association. Globally, the capital city ranked 14th, four positions higher than the previous year, and it is the only city of the American Continent in the Top 20 worldwide.
